Time Out Melbourne

This event has finished

Legendary escape artist Harry Houdini and weird fiction writer HP Lovecraft may have more in common than you think. They collaborated on several writing projects together and were both fascinated by the mysterious and impossible. The night will include screenings of Houdini’s death-defying stunts, readings of Lovecraft’s work and even a few magic tricks performed by Dane Certificate. Drinks and nibbles will be available for purchase, and 1900s - 1920s or gothic costumes are greatly encouraged.
