Bloomsday Festival: The Seven Ages of Joyce

A Bloomsday celebration of the life of James Joyce, dramatising his entire span on this earth, from birth to death. Features excerpts from A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses, and Finnegans Wake, with much music and burlesque to go with it.

Bloomsday in Melbourne will also be holding a seminar called The Obstetrician and the Psychiatrist Examine Joyce’s Ulysses, with Dr James King and Dr Jo Beatson on 16 June at 3.30pm.

Also at fortyfivedownstairs, free readings on 12 and 13 June at 1pm.
