Around York

York was the first inland settlement in Western Australia. Located on the banks of the Avon River in the Avon Valley it is only a short drive from Perth, ideally situated for a mini-break or day-trip.

It's something of a festival hub and plays host to the York Jazz Festival, Spring Garden Festival, Gourmet Food & Wine Festival, Antique & Collectors Fair, and the Healing Fayre.
