The Byrneleigh is definitely a locals bar, but it sits at the nicer end of the scale. They have weekly meal deals, trivia, happy hour and free pool on Wednesdays, as well as acoustic tunes on Sunday afternoons to help you ease back into the new week. The cocktail list is kept short and sweet, the main attraction being the hefty beer list, divided up into darks, ales, pilsners, lagers, white beers, low carb and light, as well as a broad liquor collection. If you are feeling peckish there are tapas-style snacks and some gussied up pizza topped with roast pork, Szechuan prawns, pumpkin and blue cheese to share.
