This event has finished

Marking 40 years since the global release of a little ditty called ‘Rocket Man’, Sir Elton hits the brand new Perth Arena for the venue’s opening weekend. The gig – featuring full band and no doubt a full voice – will feature hits from the four decades since the seminal single first hit airwaves. Needless to say, folks: book early. Tickets go on sale Mon Aug 6 at 9am.

Since " The Venue chose to not allow internet printed ticketing for this event" several thousand people had to wait in line over an hour outside, in the rain to collect our $300 previously paid for tickets. People holding free tickets, walked right in. The concert had alreadly started by the time we finally got in. We were then ASSAULTED by extreme over amplified sounds. Elton John's singing was drowned out by the other instruments in the band, which were competing with each other and becoming complete noise to the audience. This and the constant flashing lights pointed randomly at the audience made it a terrible experience. We left after 1.5 hours of this assault to all of our senses and will never go back to an event at this venue.
