Would it be impolite to describe this as the Grande Dame of the Cross? Showgirls has long been a Darlinghurst Road landmark with a huge stage, well-appointed private rooms and a well-tuned sound system (well, those places can get loud). They also have regular themed events and a reputation for very friendly staff. In the sense that they’re charming and pleasant, we emphasise, don’t get any ideas.

We hope to warn all not to visit Showgirls in KingsX. My boyfriend made the mistake of visiting last Thurs nite to be called by his bank the nxt day at transactions adding up to $3000 going thru his Credit Card account within 30 minuts. One charge was for $1900. I have now googled to find articles of them being investigated for this. Do not visit this club!
