Summer has finely arrived, so make the most of the fine weather - it might be fleeting - and head outside for talks, tours, theatre and film in February
Sydney's first ever Carrotmob event will happen this Saturday. Carrotmobbing is where consumers pledge to shop at a supermarket which, in turn, has pledged to make environmentally positive changes in their business.
This time, the target is Surry Hills MFC Supermarket (435 Crown Street, Surry Hills), who have agreed to spend 20% of the profit they earn on the day on making their business more sustainable.
Saturday 24 October also makes 350.org International Day of Climate Action, so you can shop with the knowledge that you're joining countless others around the world in doing your bit for the environment.
