Feeling cold, wet, grey and miserable? Getting far too attached to those slipper socks and that hot water bottle? Snap out of it! Get your gumboots on and splosh down to one of Merivale’s shiny eateries where, during the Feast for the Senses festival, you can indulge in two courses for $39, or three for $49 – the perfect antidote to the winter blues. Then you can go home and hibernate.

A Sommelier’s Long Lunch - SOLD OUT

How many times have you looked at the wine list in complete despair, not knowing which wine to pick? Franck Moreau, one of the top 12 sommeliers in the world, takes the guesswork out of it for you, picking the perfect wines to match five courses prepared by est’s acclaimed Peter Doyle. A must for foodies and winos alike.

Bastille Day

Forget the Bastille - storm your tastebuds at the Ash St Cellar this 14th July with a francophony of food – four delicious French-inspired courses and of course plenty du vin (Moreau does the business once again) all topped off with a good old dose of liberté, égalité et fraternité!

You’re thinking a cheap night out with a bottle of plonk that won’t break the bank, aren’t you? Think again. We’re talking a five-course chef’s menu by the award-winning Peter Doyle. This is your chance to show off your wine savvy as est give you this one-off opportunity to BYO. Don’t embarrass yourself.

Chateaubriand, Bordeaux And Beyond

Ooh la la – what better than a juicy Chateaubriand to melt in the mouth matched with a full-bodied glass of Bordeaux? Mad Cow and Franck Moreau do the honours by incorporating both into a fabulous five-course French meal with wines to match. Bon appetit!

Creatures of the Deep Degustation Lunch

Let Dan Hong, head chef of Lotus, take you on a weird and wonderful journey through the depths of the ocean with an imaginative five-course seafood degustation menu. No snorkels required.

Food Bloggers’ Dinner - SOLD OUT

They can eat food, they can write about it, they can love it or hate it. But can they cook? Find out for yourself as four loud-mouthed food bloggers are put to the test. They’ll dish up four courses for you to be the judge. As a precaution, Bistro CBD will knock up a fifth course themselves just to make sure that you don’t starve.

The Italian Tour

Gabriele Taddeucci, head chef of Uccello provides you with a magic fork that mysteriously transports you to a gastronomic region of Italy when you pop it in your mouth. One week Tuscany, another Amalfi, followed by Venice and then Sicily! Tuck into a three-course meal with accompanying wines from the region, swallow and digest before you wake up and realise that it was all a dream.

The gastronomic equivalent of a doona on a cold winter’s night, the roast dinner is the perfect winter food. Enjoy a hearty game, beef or duck roast with an entrée in the traditional surrounds of Bistro CBD all for $55.

For those who prefer something with a bit of a kick, chase the spicy flavours of four Sailors’ Thai courses down with four matching cocktails mixed by Merivale’s head mixologist, Mikey Enright.
