Acclaimed Canadian director Philippe Falardeau (Congorama, It’s Not Me, I Swear!) talks about his Oscar-nominated schoolroom drama Monsieur Lazhar. Set in a Montreal public grade school, the film is the story of an Algerian immigrant hired to replace a popular teacher who committed suicide in her classroom. The discussion will be one in a series of free talks at Apple Store for the Sydney Film Festival.
