The Chinese New Year Dragon Boat Races have become the biggest dragon boat meet in the Southern Hemisphere with more than 3,000 paddlers converging on Darling Harbour for two days of heart stopping racing. With almost 200,000 spectators, it is the largest event in the Chinese New Year Festival calendar.
