Look, hairdressing’s not just about hoping that the person you’re asking to pretty your coiffure up knows which end of the scissors point toward the head. There’s knowing that the person you’re trusting with the greater percentage of your skull area has a passion for the art of hair, and preferably is part of what is effectively a Justice League-style team of super hairdressing heroes.

Fortunately, that’s what Chop Shop offers. What’s even better is that they don’t operate out of secret volcano lair, private island or orbiting space platform so much as salons in Kings Cross and Bondi Beach, which are a good deal easier to get to.

Founder Dan Dixon is the Professor X of the Chop Shop team, overseeing the whole shebang. He floats between both locations, showing off the skills that have won him multiple state and regional awards.

At the Kings Cross lair, things are run by former Adelaide girl Jodi White. An all-rounder who mixes her inner city sensibilities with a little bit of a hippie, she keeps things under control with her all-star team of hairdressing hotshots, including 11 year veteran Nick “Magic Hands” Whiticker and feisty newcomer Kirsten McKenna.

Meanwhile in Bondi Beach, things are overseen by precision stylist extraordinaire Jess Roberts, backed up by Swedish bombshell Sophie Bergevald, Toni & Guy London alumnus Luke Jennings and the photographically-talented Fiona Bobowski.

Whether it’s a trim, a colour or a whole new look, Team Chop Shop are trained and ready to bring you a swift dose of hairstyle justice. And they've got a special limited time offer with $50 off any cut/colour combo - check out The Chop Shop for all the details.
