Ruby Rose's Sydney

Favourite café La Buvette near where I live in Potts Point. The staff there are amazing, they'll always squeeze you in somehow. I order the same thing there every single day: a nicoise salad with extra boiled chicken, the sauces on the side and my skinny latte. I go three times a week and I've been doing that for the last six months. It's amazing.

Favourite restaurant Harry's Singapore Chilli Crabin Surry Hills is my favourite restaurant, full stop. The mud crab there is amazing. I think it's sexy, eating with your hands.

Favourite bar Shh, because it's got that kind of exclusive feel. I like walking through the alleyway to get in there instead of doing the whole grand entrance – you know, like Hugo's, where you've got the stairs going up to the place, I kind of enjoy going through the dingy alleyway and into this petite but amazingly lit and decorated bar. It's got a New York feel, it only fits like 100 people in there as opposed to a lot of the other bars which fit 600 people, which loses their sex appeal, I guess.

Favourite pub I'm definitely a pub girl. I like The Bank in Newtown because it's out of Potts Point. It's got a really open attitude towards sexuality – gay, straight, bi, whatever – and it's got cheap beers so it's great.

Favourite walk I do like the walk going down to Woolloomooloo. I've got a little King Charles Cavalier puppy dog so I take her for walks a lot. Woolloomooloo is so underrated here; it's amazing. I like to go out to any of the parks with the dog and just read for a few hours because it's the only way I can properly switch off from the TV world.

Favourite shops The vintage stores on Crown Street. It's good to have them close together because op shops are obviously very hit and miss, so if you've only got one it's like no luck, but if you go to the three or four in that area, you're laughing.

Favourite tattoo parlour Inner Vision on Crown Street.

Favourite date spot North Bondi Italian Food or Icebergs. You can go for a walk along those rocks and along the water and lie down and have romantic moments. I also like Toko. It's just got a sexy atmosphere and they've got great cocktails, which is definitely sexy especially once you've had a few.
