Arida
An Eastern Suburbs destination for the sartorially savvy, Arida boasts men's and women's collections from Givenchy, Stella McCartney, Lanvin and Nina Ricci. A slice of high-end heaven doesn't come cheap; luckily there's a wide range of diffusion labels, including McQ, Marc by Marc Jacobs and See by Chloe, to suit (almost) every budget.
Potts Point

Assin
"Fashion-forward" takes on a new meaning at this Paddington super-boutique. Specialising in his-and-hers architectural pieces from Rick Owens, Dior Homme, Maison Martin Margiela and Japanese label Undercover, Assin is not to be missed for fans of the darker side of style.
Paddington

bloodorange
This small Elizabeth Bay store bursts at the seams with stylishly pared-back offerings from APC, Filippa K and, most notably, reigning king of streetwear Alexander Wang. Neatly organised displays of well priced goodies such as K Jacques sandals and Lover swimsuits are the perfect answer to recession shopping blues.
Elizabeth Bay

Poepke
It's almost impossible to leave Poepke without picking up a pair of adorable Bernhard Willhelm shoes or a trans-seasonal Dries Van Noten coat. Add to this the temptation of Patti Smith favourite Ann Demeulemeester and local labels Rittenhouse and Bassike and you have some idea of what this highly original boutique has to offer.

Land's End Store
Land's End Store offers a carefully edited mix of every label women want to wear right now, from cult New York brand Opening Ceremony to the cutting-edge favourite of fashion editors everywhere, Balmain. Exquisite shirting from Aussie ex-pat Richard Nicoll and sculpted pieces from Proenza Schouler help to fill the clean white space at one of Sydney's most promising new boutiques.
