The Art Traders
Buying and selling art is made easy at the Art Traders, a walk-in art shop selling works on consignment. You can get a Del Kathryn Barton print, Gary Heery's famous 1984 photo of Madonna, a Charles Blackman etching, or an exquisite piece of glassware.

Hogarth Galleries
Australia's oldest established aboriginal fine art gallery was supporting indigenous artists since before the genre was trendy. Pick up a masterwork by Minnie Pwerle, Anna Petyarre or Kathleen Petyarre, or a piece by a promising new generation artist.
Paddington

Outré Gallery
The best treasure trove of signed and limited edition pop art prints in Sydney specialises in lowbrow, street, tiki and retro art - from Mark Ryden's storybook babydolls to Niagara's pop art femmes fatales. They also have art books, magazines and toys.
Darlinghurst

Shapiro Auctioneers
Obtain anything from a Marc Newson embryo chair to an Emily Kame Kngwarreye canvas at Andrew Shapiro's auction house/gallery, specialising in 19th and 20th century fine and decorative arts, contemporary and indigenous art.
Woollahra

United Galleries
A "full service" gallery for serious investors, United Galleries offers artists' works on consignment, art market trend reports and access to private collection works pre-auction. Wendy Sharpe, Fred Cress, James Gleeson and major indigenous artists are all represented.
