1 Stitch'N'Bitch

Miss Death holds a monthly craft/food/gossip gathering at her inner-west warehouse at the Mu-Meson Archives. Remember to bring a plate of food, your current cross stitch and enough yarn to keep you amused for the afternoon.
One Sunday each month, 4pm. Free.

2 Life Drawing

Brett Whiteley Studio runs great life drawing classes in the late artist's spacious studio. If it's still pouring after the class you'll have a great reason to take your time exploring the current exhibition.
Saturdays 10.30am-12.30pm, $40.

3 Guerrilla Knitting

Reef Knothave made knitting installations for Vaucluse House and the streets of Kings Cross. Commence work on your own guerrilla knitting project or put your knitting to a more practical use as part of Save the Children's Knit One Save One project.

4 Budget Crafts

Take a trip to the recycling wonderland that is Reverse Garbage and pick up some kit for a DIY home craft project.

5 Bunnings DIY Workshops

Have a slightly more masculine crafternoon at your local hardware store. Bunnings run a range of workshops for home carpentry projects and even fire up the barbie to complete the afternoon.
