Cabbage Tree Sculpture Walk
Cabbage Tree Bay is the only west-facing beach on Australia’s east coast and this beautiful walk showcases its unique nature in the form of a series of gorgeous eco-sculptures dedicated to its marine life, plants, animals, history and attractions. Start on Marine Parade from either Manly or Shelly Beach. Sculptures are at the Shelly Beach end of the walkway.

Manly Scenic Walkway
One of Sydney’s greatest walks, this 10km odyssey takes in beaches, panoramic Harbour views, vast tracts of bushland, Aboriginal sites and pockets of sub-tropical rainforest. The Walkway is actually a series of connecting walks linking Manly, Mosman and Warringah shires that takes 3-4 hours to trek. There are differing grades for all level of walkers and plenty of entry points and signposting.  Start on the Blue Fish track – named for Cabbage Tree Bay’s blue gropers – overlooking the Shelly Beach headland.

Manly Heritage Walk
This 2-3 hour walk weaves through the Eastern Hill area of Manly, a dynamic landscape rich in natural wonders, historic buildings and Aboriginal folklore. There are many tranquil places to stop and picnic on this walk and each signposted picnic spot evokes both Manly’s earliest inhabitants (the hunter-gatherer Kayimai) and its latest (you’ll pass St Patricks where Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban married in 2006. Start at East Esplanade and finish at South Steyne taking in Little Manly Point (home to Manly’s beloved Little Penguin colony) and via Collins Beach, South Steyne and Shelly Beach.
