Comic book heroes do exist – they're coming to the Opera House for the third Graphic Festival
Graphic returns for another huge weekend of talks, screenings, panel discussions, exhibitions, performances and games.
A few highlights of the 11-show programme include indie cartoonist Peter Bagge discussing his career and work in Peter Bagge’s HATE! & Other Neat Stuff; Pixar’s Academy Award-winning director Lee Unkrich presenting Pixar: Behind The Screens – a look at the animation studio's 25-year career; an insight into the behind-the-scenes magic of Animal Logic; Fat Freddy's Drop premiering their album, Blackbird, as a specially commissioned animated performance; and local hip hop collective Elefant Traks paying tribute to the wild world of Dr. Seuss.
