Sydney-based Jacky Redgate is one of Australia's leading photographic artists, with her career spanning over 30 years. Redgate explores the interplay of systems of perception and representation, particularly in relation to photography and what occurs when three dimensional objects are translated into two dimensional images. The objects that are either impossible to photograph or optical/percemptual conundrums Redgate has created in sculpture form.
