On the last Friday of each month, Artbar – MCA's new after-hours event, sponsored by Audi – takes over the MCA with a mix of performance, music, art and fashion.

This Friday's July Artbar event is curated by Jess Olivieri of Parachutes for Ladies, who were featured in MCA's Primavera in 2011. The programme highlights include:

* Giant handshakes

* A choir

* Projections by David Capra

* Jess Mum's Mending Project

* A reverse lecture

* A live goat

* Karaoke Massage

* Stage Frighting

* Pet rock workshop

* Music by Luke Avery (aka Raw Prawn)

Not to mention, you know, a chance to tour MCA's 18th Biennale wonders.

The first Artbar event in May featured nude performance art, endurance table tennis and awesome house party-style karaoke. The second Artbar event in June featured giant inflatables, piano pinball and green-screen shenanigans.

Artbar is held from 7pm-11pm and is for over 18s only. For more information or to book online, visit The Museum of Contemporary Art or Artbar's facebook page
