Go to an art opening
Every Tue-Thu one of Sydney's many commercial galleries holds preview of a new artist's exhibition with free wine, beer and finger food. Not to mention all those hot young art students to chat up! Just remember to say the word "juxtapose" a few times.

Visit the Museum of Contemporary Art
The MCA is great fun and, right now, 100 per cent gratis. Don't miss Yinka Shonibare's elaborate and entertaining sculptures plus the best young Oz art in Primavera. The Rocks

Attend Art after Hours
The Art Gallery of NSW's Wednesday night events cost nothing! Tonight catch Alan Saunders discussing food and art; a screening of the exciting 1971 conquistador film Aguirre: Wrath of God; and classic French songs in the Artbar with the Eddie Bronson Duo. Sydney
