This artist-run initiative comes complete with three project spaces, eight individual studios and a photography lab. The programme includes solo and group exhibitions; developmental project space residences; performance events and reading groups. The public are welcomed into the space Thursday through Saturday. "Art as a product of an artist working alone in a studio is a rubbish concept," says Index Space director Alex Wisser. "Index allows artists to engage in a dialogue with one another. Experimental thinkers come together and build a creative community for St Peters."
