It’s been a long time since the 145-year-old Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, has launched a new whiskey in Australia – nearly a generation.

Now, in time to warm the cockles during the Sydney winter bar season, comes Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey. Combining Jack Daniel’s Old No 7 Tennessee Whiskey with a unique honey liqueur, the result is a versatile, smooth, easy to drink whiskey, made to serve over ice or with mixers including lemon squash or dry.

Now on sale in Australia, the new whiskey will be showcased at pop-up bar Jack’s Hive in Darlinghurst for a few nights only, Wednesday July 11 to Saturday July 21. Leading bartenders will be serving a series of cocktails created by award-winning bartender and brand ambassador, Stuart Reeves.

Reeves notes that honey is a perfect match for the charcoal-mellowed character of Jack Daniel’s. “Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey brings together two complementary tastes in a new way,” he says.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey is available at all good bottle shops in 50ml, 700ml and 1l bottles. 700ml from RRP$45.00.
