Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel

I organised my joint 30th Birthday Party with a girlfriend to be held in the Upstairs Lounge Bar of Wooloomooloo. I am a hospitality professional with over 14 years experience so I had high expectations from the beginning, something which The Function Manager went over and beyond. From the first telephone call with the Function Manager I was treated to fantastic service, extreme flexibility and on-going assistance with all my requests. The finger food was appropriate for such an event with a good mix of selection and delivered hot to our guests. The ambience of the room with big lounge chairs, space to move around the tables, easy access to the bar and of course the glorious view from the balcony made the event a success and a pleasure for us and our guests. All staff members were attentive and speedy with their service which heavily impacted on the success of the night. Management was incredibly helpful with controlling our music, the dvd I had made up and keeping us up to date with timing for our cake cutting. Security was present but in no way made any situation uncomfortable. The highlight of the night was watching my 3 yr old son have an absolute ball working the room. Being able to share my birthday with my baby in such an exclusive venue and not have any strings attached was the best gift anyone could have given me. In conclusion, I would recommend Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel, upstairs and down, for any event, big or small. The staff's attention to detail and high standards of customer service made the event a huge success. So thank you to management and staff - We had a blast!!!
