This bar is positioned right where lady Paddington shakes the grubby hand of Darlinghurst, smack bang on Oxford Street. No wonder it's so incredibly packed at the end of each working week. The spacious pub stocks a pretty decent selection of tap beer; New, Golden Ale, Kirin, Super Dry, Heineken, Becks, Scharers, VB and Coopers, and they have a generous 50 bottles of wine to steal your attention. Grab a $6.50 glass of house or splurge on the $74 Jimmy Watson shiraz. They have a fair few organic and biodynamic drops on offer too and the bar dames are more than happy to guide you through the overwhelming list. Upstairs, the Terrace Bar of polished timber, red lounges and a pool table offers 22 cocktails that start at $16.50. Attached is a pleasant courtyard with a Manhattan rooftop feel - albeit not-so-airy on a Saturday night when it is heaving with keen drinkers preparing to hit up nearby dance floors.
