It’s been a year of big changes at the Kings Cross Hotel. The ground floor has been transformed into a swish lounge replete with soft furnishings and low lights. Venture underneath to Dive Bar (p38) or ascend to our favourite spot – FBi Social. We’ve pretty much fallen in love with the place, with its several levels accomodating different shows at the same time – or the same event in different ways. That’s partially because FBi put on so damn many awesome music acts, but also because they’ve taken what was a great location and put it to the use that it so desperately needed to be, and put live music back into the Cross where it’d be missing for too long. We also love FBi radio, of course, so we’re a little bit biased.
