Saved from demolition in 1975, the Pumphouse is now a mecca for demolishing beers. Run by the Tank Stream Brewing Company they stock 70 boutique brews in a massive bar dotted with ottomans. The best is the famous Thunderbolt, a highly-hopped amber ale that pours like a liquid bullion in the glass and goes well with the pizzas and Mediterranean tapas being pumped from the kitchen. A perfect pre-gig destination for EntCent ticketholders or pre-chow-down in Chinatown.
