It's the party that never stops right in the middle of George Street
We’ve always wondered if you could, indeed, spend 24 hours within the confines of Ivy, Justin Hemmes’ multi-million dollar, blinged up sluicery. You could stay the night in the private penthouse, which has a spa big enough for eight, take cocktails down in the peacock-blue Ivy Lounge, don your bikini and budgie smugglers and lounge around the upstairs Pool Club or wander down to Ash St Cellar off Angel Place for a glass of wine or an ice-cold Martini at Felix. Ivy Bar has a bright yellow and white shower right in the middle of the space – perfect for hijacking unsuspecting bathing beauties. Keen for a game of pool and a flutter on the pokies? The Royal George, located off to the side of Ivy ground zero, is your friend. The Changeroom, sometime club and the only all-inclusive Sydney venue featuring toilets with their own mirror balls, also doubles as the bathrooms for the Pool Club. All of this, we should mention, is shrouded in foliage from lichen captured in terrariums, to free-flowing fern fronds and (yes) actual ivy that Merivale’s personal gardener is currently training down the front of the building. While this inner-city bacchanal is in full flight over the weekend, it’s the mid-week stop-over that gets our vote for an all-night disco party without the queues down George Street.

Whilst I do like the Ivy on weekdays, it's much more like London's Tiger Tiger than Shoreditch House which is members only.

"A little bit like London’s Shoreditch House, a little bit Miami" Not at ALL! Hve you been to Shoreditch House? More Essex Boys and Jersey Shore!
