If downstairs at Ravesi’s is a pub where it’s never too early to sink a beer (not even at 10.30am), then Drift Bar is Ravesi's sophisticated late-night cousin – laid-back seats, earthy tones and a cocktail list that offers quality options, even for the seasoned Sydney drinker.
Sharing the upstairs level with the restaurant, with arched doors onto the balcony that floats above Hall Street, Drift has impressive views across Bondi Beach. Lined with low-slung lounges and serviced by attentive waitresses, it’s a damn fine spot to while away the afternoon with an old-school cocktail in hand like a Mint Julep or an Aviation. Despite touting itself as one of the city’s most ‘exclusive’ bars, Drift really isn’t – it’s just a fancy bar in an enviable location with drinks that come close to matching the view.
