A relaxed but slick atmosphere awaits those who get off the Manly Ferry and enter the first restaurant on the left. Hugos Manly is the ocean-loving part of Hugos Group. Cocktails are generally on the sweet, fruity side, though they have stopped serving the famed Manly Iced Tea. The Pash (Jaggard, Cointreau, current flavored vodka, with a couple of kinds of fruit juice and passionfruit) is mouth-puckeringly zesty and sweet. For those thirsty enough, Hugos Jugs come in a range of refreshing options for $36 a pop. It's casual enough for family dining, but most diners appear to be on dates. If a view of the ocean with your squeeze is what you're after, be sure to book ahead for deck seating.
