Sydney Uni's in-house venue is still going strong
There was a moment there where it looked like we were going to lose Manning after the bar positions on campus were reduced, but thankfully the dire predictions of no more touring acts turned out to be false: there are still loads of tours coming through, which is a blessed relief since Manning's sightlines are among Sydney's best - and having a balcony where one can enjoy an al fresco drink or a cigarette while still being able to hear and (kinda) see what's going on is a rare pleasure these days.
