The Norfolk have got hip out the wazoo, including the bar food menu, designed by Duke's Tom Lim, filled with the likes of hot dog sliders, soft-shell tacos, and a very respectable burger on a soft bun with bacon, fried egg and a whole basket of crinkle-cut chips. And on Tuesdays, they're offering two tacos and a glass of punch for $12. Sweet! The leafy courtyard's been given a lick of paint and some snazzy new outdoor furniture and has fast become one of Sydney's favourite places to drink a beer. It's filled with fairy lights and colourful seating and everybody's having a good time. On tap, there's plenty to keep you occupied, with locals such as James Squire Golden and Amber as well as imports such as Heineken – but we're all about the Jack Daniels slushies. This is a pub and it's meant to be fun. The cocktails are of the Lagerita-Bloody Mary-Ice Tea-Slushy variety and it's also in keeping with the whole party-good-time vibe. There's a big upstairs area, too, with pool tables and heaps of tables and chairs, and is perfect for functions. If you're out for a knees-up night on the town it's not a bad place to throw back a few drinks.
