Roof Bar has closed
Despite the interior bar feeling a little like part of a department store (courtesy of Bing Lee below), Roof Bar offers safe sanctuary from inner-city madness. Escape outside onto the rooftop deck and watch the city burn at a slower pace. The long, sloping bar churns out popular tap beers such as Asahi as well as reasonably priced wines from $20. No highbrow sommelier selection here, this bar’s more about the cocktails. Here you’ll fi nd the classic ensembles including Mojitos, Caprioskas and of course, the Martini. There are also ladykiller combinations with OPI nail varnish names like ‘I’d Rather Be In Jamaica’. Try 'Frost Bitten' – Roof Bar’s very pink take on the Margarita: Pama pomegranate liqueur, Cuervo tequila, Cointreau, lime and cranberry. And with cocktail night rendering everything $7.50 on Wednesday evenings, you can try a selection.
