Wine, snacks and coffee. That’s pretty much the Shop in a nutshell. In fact, it’s not much bigger than a nutshell, seating about ten inside and the same on the street. There’s the decent wine list, including 22 by the glass, ranging from $7.50 to $18. Grab a seat inside, order the gypsy ham sandwich and if the time of day is right, match it with a glass of Rimaresq Rosé. Later in the afternoon, you'll be wanting a Venetian Spritzer or the daily cocktail for $14. Match them with half a dozen Sydney rock oysters and you pretty much can’t lose. The crowd is very Bondi – laidback, relaxed and generally carefree – and while the service is occasionally slow, the staff are pleasant and will probably know your name by the second time you visit.
