It’s Bali meets Bondi Beach – a pocket of fun when the sun is scorching, the jugs are flowing and the idea of going to work tomorrow is something you can most definitely worry about later.
A good-time small bar with a crowd to match, its attraction lies in its relaxed atmosphere and extensive drinks list that's more concerned with potent, easy-to-down cocktails than the art of the perfect Martini. Look no further than the crowd favourite, Jungle Juice. Served in a plastic jug and to a ‘secret’ recipe, we suspect it’s laced heavily with Jagermeister, but whatever – it sure is tasty.
There may be bamboo, straw hut roofing and happy snaps of party-goers pinned to the walls but don’t be deceived by the ‘Bali Hai’ decor – this is a great Sydney bar that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
