You'd be forgiven for thinking that bowls clubs are the haunt of Sydney's pensioners if you've never been to a Mad Racket party. When Zootie, Simon Caldwell, Jimmi James and Ken Cloud take over the greens in Marrickville, it'll be an all-out party. The theme this time round is Disco Circus, which means the big top will be popping off to the sounds of Dean Dixon and Dave Fernandes, the brains behind local party brand Ha Ha Industries. Primed for their first-ever Racket set, the duo will be running the gamut of dance music, blending genres and styles like they always do. With the Bowl-O-Sonic sound system pumping out crystal clear beats, and well as themed decorations and a greenside smoking area, Mad Racket will have you stuck to the dancefloors yelling for more until the early hours.
