Club 77 evokes mixed feelings, from the 3am line-up to the 6am exit. Boys who liked girls who liked girls and pre-Modular Bang Gang DJs called the dungeon home.
Now, with the graduation of that crew to the Flinders, 77's most popular indie night comes in the form of teen battleground Starfuckers. The dance floor hosts a neon revolution with beats courtesy of Mr Disorder, Hookie and Donnie Blood.
