What makes you a classic?
James Taylor: I still use vinyl (as a stand for my TV).
Kid Kenobi: Next year it will be 20 years since I went to my first dance party! Think that makes me a living classic.
Nick Law: My ability to never age, I am the Peter Pan of North Bondi.
Tonite Only: I'm not a classic anything but fortunately, I'm not done yet.

James Taylor: Plump DJs – 'Electric Disco'
Mark Murphy: So many, but you can't really go past Frankie Knuckles – 'Your Love'.
Nick Law: Chez Damier – ‘I Never Knew Love’.
Trent Rackus: With It Guys – ‘Let The Music Take Control’.
Shamus: Steve “Silk” Hurley – 'The Word is Love'.
Tonite Only: Axel F – 'Harold Faltermeyer'.
A classic gig?
James Taylor: Harbourlife 2005.
Kid Kenobi: The Field Day when it was like 50 degrees on the dancefloor and the crowd stopped dancing to cheer a cool breeze.
Mark Murphy: Big Day Out 2007 an the first Earthance in Petersham. At Earthdance, Ajax didn't show up so I went on and everyone thought I was him so they were all going off!
Trent Rackus: The Love/Sabotage parties at the Metro.
Shamus: When I played alongside Sandy Rivera who made me play 'Finally' as my encore at 6am, with both of us singing every word at the top of our lungs to the crowd.
Classic drink?
James Taylor: Johnny Blue on the rocks.
Kid Kenobi: Vodka and lemonade.
Mark Murphy: I'll have a double!
Nick Law: Any first growth Grand Cru Bordeaux.
Shamus: A Margarita.
Tonite Only: Water
Your classic hangover cure?
James Taylor: Johnny Blue on the rocks.
Kid Kenobi: Beer.
Ping Pong DJs (Matt Nukewood and Brendan Fing): About four Nurofen, two litres of water, and home delivered greasy food.
Trent Rackus: Horse tranquilizers.
Shamus: Lemonade iceblocks and a swim in the ocean.
The classic artist, club or club night that changed your life?
James Taylor: Plump DJs at the Metro in 2000.
Kid Kenobi: TLM on 2RSR Sydney in 1992. It was the first time I ever heard old skool hardcore.
Mark Murphy: Hordern Pavillion and Sweatbox Meltdown in 1989, and Heaven nightclub in London from 85–87.
Trent Rackus: Danny Tenaglia's 10-hour set at the Metro in 1997.
Shamus: Armand Van Helden at Sublime in 1999 – he showed me the way I wanted to DJ.
Tonite Only: Erol Alkan's Trash at the End in London. I was there almost every Monday night from 2002–2006 like a proper groupie.
