Levins (pictured) is an amazing all-rounder who plays old-skool party favourites, does awesome "photo bombs", opened the much-loved DIP eatery and has even hosted the main stage at Parklife. We urge you to party with him hip-hop night Halfway Crooks at Phoenix.

He's hardly a newcomer - he's been spinning vinyl for the last two decades but if you see this Mad Racket founder's name on a club night flyer, it's certainly not going to be a dud. He hovers around soulful house and techno, but tarts it up with all manner of unexpected genre kicks.

Ash & Andy, Death Strobe Records

Andy Webb helps run Picnic, keeps the posts rolling over at awesome music blog Disco Delicious and runs Death Strobe Records with Ash Moses, who also spins under the moniker Tunnel Signs. Catch the boys at their label showcase at the Spice Cellar on Fri Jun 15.

HOOPS

Anna Lunoe, Nina Las Vegas and Bad Ezzy are three babes that like to drop Baltimore club, smooth r'n'b and hip hop with serious swagger. You'll find them regularly heating up the GoodGod Danceteria.

Slow Blow

Parri and George are the boys behind the always-colourful monthly Slow Blow parties at GoodGod. They also regularly roll their disco and house heavy record bags over to the roving Motorik! parties.

Mark Pritchard

You may know him as Harmonic 313 or one half of Afrika Hitech, he's put out releases through Warp and Hyperdub, and he's our pick for left-field hip hop, wonky future beat and interesting dubstep.

Nic Scali

Scali has been on the scene for a few years now, spinning banging house, techno and minimal sounds at the Spice Cellar, on the Spice Cruises and at Bare Essentials and Seasoned Music's weird and wonderful parties.

They've just released their This Time Around EP through Future Classic and it's shoulder-shimmy dancefloor disco at its best. We expect them to be on stages and behind decks all over the city soon.

Shantan Wantan Ichiban and Mike Who?, Stolen Records

These lads play really ineteresting jams, like Dancehall, soul, cheesy '90s r'n'b and the like. They also make sweet mixtapes to post on their Stolen Records blog and host the city's best hip-hop show on FBi. Catch them at GoodGod or the Hollywood Hotel.
