Time Out Sydney

Four days off, ten ways to party. (We like that kind of math)

Astral People presents XXYYXX

Surry Hills

The working day before the long weekend is always a bit of a write-off, so we're starting early with a gig from young hip-hop producer Marcel Everett. The guy behind XXYYXX is only 17 but his repertoire is already impressive. Everett will showing off his experimental lo-fi tracks at the Standard, with support from Sydney's Polographia and Cosmo's Midnight. Wed Mar 27.

Silent Servant

If you want to get the party started with modern techno, Silent Servant will mixing things up at Sydney's intimate One22 club on Thursday night. Juan Mendez is best known for the way he fuses techno with punk-electro, so it'll be a heady set with support from Asger Jorn and DJs James Walsh and Methodix. Thu Mar 28.

Picnic presents Ivan Smagghe

For a hippie-dance vibe, Picnic is presenting French remix-producer Ivan Smagghe and indie dance duo Pachanga Boys to the Abercrombie. Head there after work for a fun and unpredictable night with a bit of electroclash, minimal techno and house. Thu Mar 28.

Marquee's first birthday

Join resident DJs Timmy Trumpet, Tenzin, Helena, Georgia, K-Note, Zero Cool and Hook N Sling to help celebrate Marquee's first birthday. More acts and surprises for the weekend will be announced soon. Fri Mar 29.

SPICE with Spice Troopers

On Saturday, the guys at Spice Cellar are keeping the dance floor warmed up for a 12-hour Easter marathon of deep house. SPICE Troopers YokoO, Nic Scali, Mike Witcombe, Gabby and Morgan will make sure it's nothing less than epic. Sat Mar 30.

Berlin's Prosumer will lead a battle to save the world with house and techno at Goodgod's Danceteria. The Panorama Bar resident will play an extended set following a DJ smack down between Slowblow and Softwar. Sat Mar 30.

Free pool party at Ivy

Fancy partying with hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash? Hit the Ivy on Saturday night then. RSVP through Time Out and you will get in for free. Sat Mar 30.
