Mum

Kings Cross

This live music club night has proved itself quite the stayer on the Kings Cross scene. Expect a varied local line-up playing electronic, indie, alternative, pop, rock and experimental fare. Seven bands play across three levels of the Bayswater Road club.

Girls Gone Mild

Sydney

Our favourite FBi Radio sister duo, Hannah & Eliza Reilly, are now looking after Thursday nights in the GoodGod Front Bar. Start the weekend a little early with a mixed bag of dance floor gems, as the girls riff on a different theme each week, from 'The Warriors' to 'Beat Street Bloc Party'. And it's totally free!

Starfuckers

Kings Cross

Club 77 evokes mixed feelings, from the 3am line-up to the 6am exit. Boys who liked girls who liked girls and pre-Modular Bang Gang DJs called the dungeon home. Now, with the graduation of that crew to the Flinders, 77's most popular indie night comes in the form of teen battleground Starfuckers. The dance floor hosts a neon revolution with beats courtesy of Mr Disorder, Hookie and Donnie Blood.

Hot Damn

Darlinghurst

Think packed dance floors, 3am singalongs, MySpace photo posers and house wine by the bottle. Hot Damn rounds up Sydney's hottest indie bands, drawing a daring Thursday night crowd. Cheap as chips, it provides a mix of the avant garde and atypical with reasonable drinks. You may be calling in sick on Friday.

Slow Blow

Sydney

Indie kids getting down to disco at the ultimate indie kid hangout, GoodGod Small Club. Dreamcatcher and Jungle Snake keep them moving until the wee hours every month. Those irresistible throw-back disco tunes will have you walking home at daybreak.
