Renaissance Man are a Finnish duo who met at while working at an architecture firm. Realising that their destiny lay in the wider world, the pair began to host a monthly club night in 2008. NOW!, as it was called, quickly became the must-attend party, and before long Renaissance Man were turning their attention to production. Their first track, Spraycan, came out on uber-producer Switch's label Dubsided, followed quickly by Rhythm on Kitsune and their first EP on Sound Pellegrino. Now, the two are in high demand as remixers, working with artists like Health, Brodinski, The Very Best and Crookers, as well as flying all around the world to rock crowds.
This mix showcases their fresh take on dance music. Featuring artists like Oliver $, Crookers, Solo and Claude Von Stroke, as well as their own productions and remixes, Renaissance Man layer deep pulsing basslines with minimal rhythms for a clean, smooth dancefloor shaking product.
