How can we laugh as the world slides into chaos? Go to a comedy show and forget your troubles. Lose yourself in the silly thoughts of your favourite comedian for an hour. That's what a comedy festival is for.

What punchline have you longed to find a joke for but never quite managed? For me the punchline comes last. I don't put my routines together like the movie Momento. So I can't say I have an outstanding punchline that requires a set up.

If you could call a moratorium on one over-used stand-up premise, what would it be? When you get kicked in the balls, your voice goes high. You can't reverse the effects of puberty by a blow to the crotch. It doesn't make sense.

Bill Hicks or Bill Cosby? Bill Cosby. I grew up listening to Cosby on cassette. When I was a teenager I couldn't get to sleep with out listening to his beautiful phrasing on my walkman.

Does your mother approve of your career choice? I bought my mum a flat screen. She loves my career.

What's the one subject that youve never been able to make a joke about? Quantum Physics. It's really hard to get a club audience involved in the sub-atomic particles that make up our universe.

If your comedy was a musical genre, what would it be? Rock. Straight down the line, four to the floor, tap your toe, rock.

Of what comedian would you most like to hear about the mysterious, asteroid-collision-related disappearance? I don't wish ill on other comedians. We're in the trenches together. It's just some audiences that we hate.

Complete: Two men walk into a bar... They sit down and order a beer. The end.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Josh Thomas.

What's the funniest thing about Sydney? I live in a country town, so I find it funny that people in Sydney spend a lot of money on tiny little shit houses. Move to Newcastle and live like a king!

In 30 words or less, explain what your show is about and why everyone should go and see it. When it comes to stand up, I know exactly what I'm doing. So come see my show. I'll make you laugh so hard that your ass will bleed. Get it into ya! Andrew P Street
