There are a few sounds we're accustomed to hearing in an art gallery: the reverential pitter-patter of expensive footwear, the whispers and murmurs of enlightened discourse, thought-provoking moody soundscapes of 'found sounds'...

But what about laughter? Does anybody remember laughter?

That's right, the Museum of Contemporary Art has got the giggles. As part of its weekly after-hours night series Thursday Lates every Thursday this August, certified laughter yoga teacher Kylie Willows will conduct free sessions to get your endorphins flowing and your sides splitting.

What better way to embrace the inclusive theme of the 18th Biennale of Sydney: All Our Relations than by sharing a hearty chuckle with your fellow arty fun-lovers?

Oh, and you can always nip into the MCA Cafe if you want to be caffeinated as well as cachinnated.

Remember: laughter really is the best medicine. You can't OD and the refills are free.
