As well as his university qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce/Law (Melbourne Uni), Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (ANU) - Malaysian comic Ronny Chieng is earning some impressive comic cred, including Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2012.
Chieng recently spoke to our pals at Time Out London about his most memorable gig:
"I once did a gig at an office Christmas party in the showroom floor of a friend’s father’s home appliance shop in the suburbs of Melbourne. It was to a much older crowd. Without a microphone. Or a stage. With the queue for the buffet behind me. The gig actually didn’t go so bad. I think everyone felt sorry for me. Great buffet, though."
