Wed 21 Apr was a gloriously sunny day, which made for a perfect atmopshere at Time Out Sydney's Sydney Comedy Festival lunch, aptly entitled A Man Walks Into A Bar…, at James Squire Brewhouse & Restaurant on King Street Wharf.

The beer flowed freely and the BBQ was enjoyed with no small enthusiasm by a who’s-who of Sydney Comedy Festival luminaries from around the planet – including TONY WOODS, DeANNE SMITH,AL PITCHER, SHANE MAUSS, the entire DEAD CAT BOUNCEteam, MICHAEL WORKMAN, JACKIE LOEB, CALE BAIN and JON WILLIAMS of Puppy Fight Social Club, MADELEINE CULP of the Cloud Girls, NICK SUN, SEIZURE KAISER of 60 in 60, DAVE THORNTON and more, as well as festival director JORGE MENIDIS, the Comedy Store’sMICHAEL BROWN and BEN PRITCHARD and many more of the city’s comedy community. Stories were shared, drinks were downed, snags were consumed and collegiate good times were had – as the attached slideshow demonstrates.
