The story of the world's best sushi chef, who rolls in a subway station
He's 85, and his restaurant, Sukiyabashi Jiro, has only ten seats in its Tokyo subway station location, but Jiro Ono is considered the best sushi chef in the world – and he has three Michelin stars to prove it. This documentary, from young American filmmaker David Gelb, tracks Jiro's relationship with first-born son Yohsikazu, the heir to the Jiro legacy who struggles in his father's imposing shadow.
