The location for the hotly anticipated return of drive-in cinema to central Sydney has been announced as Carriageworks in Eveleigh.
The pop-up cinema will launch on November 29, with tickets on sale from October 31.
The three films to screen in the premiere season have also been revealed, and they all have an automotive USA theme:
On the Road, the adaptation of Kerouac's beat novel, starring Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart, is the new film.
Steve Martin/John Candy comedy Planes, Trains and Automobiles is the sentimental favourite.
And 1971 thriller Vanishing Point is the obscure classic.
