The world's best new action sports films are coming to a cinema near you
On Sundays and Mondays for five consecutive months, selected Hoyts and Event cinemas will screen the best action sports films of 2012, featuring a host of sports stars from Kelly Slater to skier Russ Henshaw.
The 12 films will each get a two-week run, providing multiple chances to see surf, snow, water sports and mountain bikes on the big screen. We’ve picked three highlights for your calendar:
Strength in Numbers: This bike flick features a league of hotshot cyclists including Danny Macaskill and chronicles mountain-bike culture around the world. Opens July 15.
White Silk Road: Australia’s best snowboarders tackle the treacherous snow-capped mountains of
Afghanistan. Opens July 29.
El Mar, Mi Alma: An exploration of the role of the sea in Chilean culture, this one promises insights, lush photography, and heart-in-mouth surfing. Opens August 12.
The Sessions Series screens Jun 24-Nov 18 at selected Hoyts and Event cinemas.

hey, id love to go see White Silk Road, but no cinemas in sydney appear to be screening. its a bit of a shame when u think about it, i would rather go pay an overpriced movie ticket and watch this then go out blind in the city, however the man is def limiting options. in short, where can i see this film in sydney?
