A new website blending art, rants and raves, thought provoking points of view, dance party and queer culture is heading our way in the form of raydar.com.au.
Raydar is the project of former street press editor Danny Corvini and features his interview with party monster Michael Alig, which was conducted through snail mail over two years of correspondence and was described by the Party Monster's filmmakers, World of Wonder Films, as "exhaustive".
Danny (aka DJ DCON) is looking to use his 15 years of experience in the publishing and dance scenes to create a website and party series that reflects the more dynamic and less cliché end of the gay and lesbian spectrum.
There’s also a profile on the artist behind the party image Trademark, an interview with the newly revived Itch-e and Scratch-e, plus CD reviews, news and gossip, opinion pieces and much, much more.
To salute the launch of Raydar, DJ Mike Kelly (who will be straight off the plane from Germany when he plays) will join DJs Seymour Butz, Matt Vaughan, Lovertits, Sex Weapon Azza and DCON, and VJM.
