With all the hoo-ha, dummy-spitting and blatant discrimination surrounding the issue of gay marriage, it’s interesting to hear that the average ‘conventional marriage’ as endorsed by the Pope himself has a shelf life of 8 years and 8 months.
That figure inspired out and proud gay man Evan Cooper to create
The Commitment Project – a website that profiles same-sex couples who have been in a committed relationship for 8.8 years or longer.
This inspiring website is a wonderful insight into the lives of couples who have shared anywhere between eight to thirty years together with or without the approval of others.
Cooper is inviting gay, lesbian and trans couples who have been together for more than 8.8 years to take part in the project, by way of appearing on the website and sharing their story. If you would like to share your love story with the world and read about others who also enjoyed long-term relationships then
